Q: We've heard from your Program Coordinator that one of your key strengths is the area of planning. Could you share with us your plan for your school application?

Frankly speaking, my undergraduate school is not ivy league good; because of that, I choose the best department in my school-Bridge and Tunnel Engineering.
I was struggling between MEng (Master of Engineering) and MS (Master of Science). I've learnt that MEng is more relevant to my major at college and such program emphasizes more on practice, I do prefer this, however, to increase my chance of getting into a program, I applied for both. Since I had never studied abroad before or studied in a course taught completely in English, I found the GEC program to be perfect to fill this gap. 

 

Q; Anything else you want to share about the online program you attended with us? 

GEC program offer me two things: 1. An opportunity to work with one of the smartest brains in the field, and 2. An offer to my dream school.
Whether it is application or scientific research, my advice is always planning ahead making sure every decision made is after thorough consideration. I constantly tell myself to be prepared accordingly, fully understand your goals and needs, and earnestly achieve your goals. Perfect preparation could only be done with sufficient time.
